NFL Picks - Philadelphia Eagles vs. Baltimore Ravens

Just when the Ravens thought things might get easier they have to play the Philadelphia Eagles. The Ravens got a serious reality check last Sunday when the best team in the NFL, the New York Giants, made some NFL betting fans filthy rich. The online betting spread was only 7 ½ in that game. The Giants won by twenty. The Ravens defense was exposed as being pretty awful against a terrific rushing team. The Raven will now try to bounce back straight-up and against the spread when the Eagles come to town.

 

The Philadelphia Eagles just can’t seem to get it together. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Donovan McNabb and one of the best running backs in the league in Bryan Westbrook. But their record straight-up is only 5-4-1 and their record against the BetUS online sportsbook wagering spread is a decent but not fantastic 6 and 4. What’s worse is that they can’t ever finish a game the right way. They ended tying the Bengals last week. They were playing the Bengals!

The Over is 7 and 3 in the Philadelphia Eagles last 10 games on the road.

The Baltimore Ravens are 8 and 2 against the spread in their last 10 games on grass.

The Over is 4-0-1 in the Baltimore Ravens last 5 games overall.

The Eagles are the better team. I’m convinced. Getting the Eagles on the money line at even money is just about making me jump up and dance.

This has to be one of the best online wagers to make this weekend. As well as Baltimore has been playing, that blitzing Eagles defense should shut down any semblance of a passing game.

That means the Ravens will need to stick with the run. It wouldn’t be a problem if the Eagles weren’t good against the run as well.

The Ravens’ D looked tired last week. I suspect that Donovan and Co. will have their way this Sunday. I’ll be making an online bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to win this game straight-up at even money in the BetUS online sportsbook.
